Honma Seika is engaged in wholesaling vegetables and fruits, Western vegetables, flowers for a household Buddhist altar or grave, eggs, pickles and so on to supermarkets and hotels―delivery services for establishments on Sado Island.
It is said that at first they ran an orchard around 1957 and went around as peddlers selling pears they harvested. Then they gradually started to run a poultry farm and to deal in eggs and farm products. As their business diversified, it changed into the present style of business, namely delivering merchandise by car in a wider sphere on the island.
Now delivery services are provided to stores in various parts of the island, from the Aikawa district to the Ryotsu and Sawata districts.
